NATIONAL GALLERIES OF SCOTLAND SEATING

A series of bespoke oak benches for the National Galleries of Scotland, designed to balance accessibility and comfort with contemporary craftsmanship.

With over a million visitors each year, the benches were developed in collaboration with the Galleries team to create seating that is inclusive, durable and beautifully made. Each piece features shaped armrests for mobility support, wider seating for families, and a layout that invites visitors to pause and take in the artworks from every angle. Crafted entirely from solid oak and finished by hand in our workshop, the design is completed with Scottish Muirhead leather seat pads for a refined touch of comfort.
