In collaboration with Andy Goldsworthy, Old School Fabrications was commissioned to design, fabricate, and install intricately engineered supporting structures for his largest-ever indoor exhibition.
For the giant clay wall, we created a timber frame lined with a specially selected substrate, engineered to bear the weight and texture of raw clay applied directly on site.
The “halo” structure, designed to suspend thousands of reeds from above, was carefully constructed to encircle the historic skylight while safely supporting the delicate installation.
